JSU has everything going for them. Robert Kent is back and more mature. The receivers are on the same page as Kent. They have had a year together and a spring. Everything looks on the up and up. 

The only question is the hiring of the unproven coach James Bell. Bell promises to bring discipline back to JSU, a virtue that has been slipping for the past three years.  JSU’s turnovers are the reason why the Tigers are not back-to-back SWAC champions right now.  

Bell’s first priority when he got to JSU was start helping Kent shorten his throwing motion. This will make Kent's release quicker and decrease the chases for interceptions.  This showed everybody was fair game in the Bell coaching era. Bell claims that the Tigers will become more run oriented, but admits to make play calls to compliment Kent. 

With all that said, No one knows how coach Bell will perform during the game. Play calling is the difference between a good team and a bad team.
