Last year at this time P.V. was talking about the contract extension of Coach Larry Dorsey and the possibility of getting back to contention in the SWAC. The reality is that the Panthers returned to their old form and coach Dorsey was fired.  

Now the panthers have a new coach, C. L. Whittington, to lead them back. The problem is does any body care? Dorsey added some fire to a program that was dead in the water.  With that gone the fan base has become a little frustrated.  Not at the losing but at the revolving door of the coaches at P.V. 

Well don’t expect much from the Panthers this year. It will be a learning season for both Coach Whittington and the Panthers.
