Hornets May Lose Some Sting Alabama State had a great season last year and was left with a bad taste in their mouths losing to Grambling State University in the SWAC Championship game. The good news is the one factor that let them down last will be much improved with the whole secondary and an all conference defensive lineman returning. The bad news is, the once high powered offense is gone. All the main ingredients are lost to graduation. Head coach L.C. Cole will have to do dedicate time and energy to younger players in order make it back to top. The answer is in the team's quarterback. Three players will be vying for the spot but look for Georgia Tech transfer Jermaine Crenshaw to led the Hornets against Miles. The key to win for the Hornets is not get in a quarterback controversy. It will spit the team from within and throw off the rhythm of the offense that will be already struggling. Prediction 6-5 (Predicted wins: Miles, Texas Southern University, University Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Morris Brown, Alabama A&M, Mississippi Valley State University) |
