Bulldogs Offense Struggles in Scrimmage

''Y'all better find some more (offensive) linemen because these guys are soft.''

That the quote that was yelled across the filed when defensive tackle Jerald Harris stuffed full back Tony Wallace on a trap play. Head coach Anthony Jones watched his defense dominate the offense in every phase of the game during practice.

''Our effort wasn't good,'' Jones said. ''If you punch me and I don't punch you back, I made no effort to fight you back. We've got to learn how to fight.

Disappointed about the practice Jones continues to comment on the offense.

Jones might just have to figure on playing ball control offense and hope the defense scores in order to be in the position to win the game. If the offense doesn't work out the kinks this could be a long season.
