Running Game = Jackson St.? Jackson State Head Coach Robert Hughes mission this preseason camp is developing the running game. Due to the performance of returning quarterback Robert Kent, Hughes must find a way to keep the pressure off Kent this year. "Since we had a great quarterback (Robert Kent, 6-5, 210) last season, opponents were expecting us to throw the ball," said Hughes. "This year we are going to come after them (opponents) from every angle. We are going to run the ball, and run the ball and run the ball some more. But we are going to come off the bus throwing the ball." If the Hughes can get running back Tanaka Counslor to rush over 1,000 yards, opponents will have to put a least six people in the box. Six people in the box will leave the passing game open for Kent to do damage. Media day will be held Sunday, August 11 at 2 p.m., at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium. Media day is free and open to the public
