PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas (AP) -- Kerry Wilson ran for 80 yards on eight carries and scored a touchdown for Prairie View A&M, which beat Paul Quinn 39-12 on Saturday night.

Michael Hall was 9-of-20 with an interception for 109 yards for Prairie View (1-0).

Marcus Carter led Paul Quinn (1-1), going 11-of-31 for 176 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.

Prairie View took a 14-0 first-quarter lead on a 25-yard run by Wilson and an 8-yard scoring run by Arnell Fontenot. The Panthers took a 21-0 lead into halftime on Fontenot's second score, a 29-yard run in the second quarter.

The Panthers ran for 256 yards to Paul Quinn's 64.
