Panthers Win Easy Non-Conference Game

The Panthers got points on offense, defense and special teams as they downed Lincoln 40-8.

Kerry Wilson led the ground attack for the Panthers with 13 carries for 92 yards while Arneel Fontenot had 16 carries for 89 yards and two touchdowns.  Eric Hernandez had three points averaging 40.0 yards with one inside the 20 while Joe Townsend had four punt returns averaging 17.5 per return.  Mario Sanchez averaged 57.3 yards per kickoff.

Defensively for Prairie View, Hakeem Muhammed had 11 total (nine solo) tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack, one pass breakup and one interception. Gary Hicks added six stops in the game.
