Richardson not impressed "I'm not pleased," Richardson said. "A lot of them are fighting fatigue and using that as an excuse. We've got to get their legs back under them. The mental focus has to intensify." The coaching staff burned the midnight oil after the scrimmage to break down film. The situation on the field always looks worst live than on tape. Even though some things look better on film "the eye in the sky don't lie." "You always think it's worse at first," Richardson said. "We made some positive things happen. The main thing is our players are starting to understand we have to go hard for 60 minutes. Mental mistakes won't be tolerated. The seniors are going to have to put pressure on the team." Any coach will tell that it doesn't matter how athletic you are if you can't remember the assignments and make mental mistakes. "We're zeroing in on Tulane, what we think they're going to do, and finding the right players," Richardson said. "We're going to eliminate a lot of mistakes by having certain individuals (on the sideline)."
