I agree with what you said about the recruiting and difference in conference. I was speaking of Conference USA. I don't know if I would say that Southern has been the most consistant in the past 10 years. But if you look back you will see that they beat Grambling in some of their down years when Grambling would go to the Heritage Bowl representing the SWAC. Also I would say the same about Jackson State. If we are talking about Grambling verses Southern then yes they did do that. I don't know if I would go as far to say most consistant. One of them certainly... I would have to look back and recall past years to go that far. As for the Tulane game... We all lose for reasons and that was there's. They still lose 41-7. Two misses don't get you beat that bad. I mean when Grambling played Louisville it was the same situation about getting close and not scoring. Yet, there was no true chance of winning the game. I think that the game this year will be closer between them though. Hopefully... It all depends if their running game does anything. Their lending rusher last year got under 400 yards for the season. Grant it there were injuries but still. The second leading rusher was their quarterback. Not good... Thank Texas for having too much talent.
