If Jackson State does struggle this year expect Alcorn to step up a take the east crown. Now what could be interesting is what if grambling beat Southern to SWAC championship game. Then you would have two teams who has played each other early in the season facing off for the championship. The game attendance would be down due to Jackson big following bot being there but the quality of the game would superb.
